THE CATALOG:        LOCAL MEMBERS PLEASE COME TO THE MEETING AND HELP US FILL OUT THE CATALOG TO BE SENT TO ALL OF OUR MEMBERS, IF WE ALL PITCH IN IT WILL ONLY TAKE A SHORT TIME.                                                                                                                  

 

MEMBERSHIP: If you know someone who you feel would make a good member of our club, please have them fill out an application for membership, with two members in good standing as sponsors.  Send the application with a check to Dr. Michael Knight. The membership application can be found and available for printing on the website:  www.pekingesecluboftexas.com/ or contact Michael for one to be mailed to you.

 

JUST A NOTE: It is the end of the summer but not the end of the heat. Stay aware of the weather as storms can come up quickly and watch the thermometer as now is when the temperature begins to vary.

 

CHAMPIONSHIP PLAQUES for 2010:   Send me your Champion Certificates from last year. Many of our members have finished their Pekingese and should mark that occasion with a special embossed plaque to display on the wall. The Championship Plaques for 2010 PCT members who finished Pekingese in 2009 will be given at the winter 2010 Specialty Show. You can receive one plaque for the year, with all of your dogs listed that you finished in 2009 for $10 or one plaque for each dog for $10 per plaque. If there is more than one owner, who is a 2010 member, then both can request a plaque of that dog at $10 per plaque. All owners must be members in order to have their names on the plaque or to receive a plaque. Please send Gloria Blum a copy of the AKC Championship Certificate by October 15th 2010.  If for some reason you cannot attend the show in December it will be mailed to you. Just e-mail me a copy of the champion certificate for correct spelling and a note if you will pick it up at the show.  Plaques to be awarded in December so far are:

If there is something that you would like to see on the website please let Don Sutton know.  Betty will update daily if necessary. Kudos goes to Betty Tilley-Poole for her hard work.
